Holdorf Press is an independent book publisher based in West Newton, Massachussetts. Founded in 2022, our mission is to publish books that celebrate the human experience and amplify marginalized voices. We believe in the power of storytelling to illuminate the diverse facets of the human experience and are looking for authors and submissions that reflect these values.
We’re actively seeking submissions from authors and voices that reflect the rich diversity of the world we live in and speak to the LGBTQ+ community. Whether your work is bold, traditional or experimental, or traditional, if it speaks to authenticity and inclusivity, we want to read it!
Writers at Riverside: Independent Time for Expression
The WRITE retreat is in an area rich in history and natural beauty less than 50 miles south of DC. Nearing completion, the cottage sits on nearly one hundred acres of shared private land and is right on the Potomac River. With more than a hundred feet of private beach and miles of unobstructed water views, this retreat is perfect for literary or artistic inspiration.
Behind the secluded cottage are acres of fields woods, and wildlife. Deer, osprey, bald eagles, foxes, and songbirds abound. Whether you need a quiet place to finish your work in progress or need some inspiration, the WRITE retreat will meet your needs. Weekend or week-long stays are soon to be
